Mars Attacks Invasion - Soldier Balbo
Looks like he did not get killed in the Heritage set...Balbo lives!
The 17th and 18th (of 106) sketch cards done for the Mars Attacks Invasion trading card series by Topps.
With a large stack of cards to do in a short period of time I repeated a motif I’ve used before: repeating, yet tweaking an image (only once) and playing with grey tones.
Mars Attacks cards first appeared in 1962, conceived and produced by Len Brown, Woody Gelman, Wally Wood, Bob Powell and Norman Saunders.
